Imagine Claude Bolling meets Thelonius Monk, and there's a flutist nearby! World premiere recording of Eric V. Baum's smooth jazz suite from 1982, written for & dedicated to flutist Joanne Lazzaro. Each track is based on conversations, events and shared experiences in their lives. Pianist Bryan Pezzone (heard on hundreds of movie soundtracks) re-creates Bolling's late-1970s French cinema sound.
